The List uses our own Ken Pomeroy's Pomeroy Rankings as a barometer to judge teams along with Jerry Palm's RPI rankings, Jeff Sagarin's computer rankings and Kyle Whelliston's Basketball Statecomputer ratings. Also factored in are how the "mainstream" media votes in the Associated Press poll and the coaches vote in their USA Today/ESPN poll. Finally, I factor in my own subjective look at teams through the eyes of someone who was once a member of the AP's poll board.
