This Is It.

The Kenny Loggins' hit song used to be the theme for the NCAA Tournament back in the days when NBC televised the event. It's a song 10 times better than the lame "One Shining Moment" that CBS plays at the end of each year's tournament.

Anyhow, this is it for The List for the 2009-10 season. We're going no further.

The field of 65 has been determined, seeded and bracketed by the NCAA. Everything will be decided on the court now. There is no longer any need to rank the teams because they will rank themselves over the next three weeks.

But on our way out the door until November, here is one last look at the Top 25. As bonus, I've ranked the entire 65-team field along with the fields for the NIT, CBI and College Insiders.com tournament. This is what happens when you have limited social options.

As always, we lean on the objective data, taking into account Ken Pomeroy’s Pomeroy Ratings at kenpom.com, the Jeff Sagarin ratings for USA Today at usatoday.com, RealTimeRPI at realtimerpi.com, Team Rankings at teamrankings.com and Kyle Whelliston’s State of Basketball rankings at basketballstate.com.
